Pros of The Rooftop Hostel: Super friendly and kind owner and staff, always available on whatsapp. Clean showers, hot water, and excellent amenities like a shared kitchen. Perfect location, just a 1-minute walk from the bus station. Convenient luggage storage after checkout for exploring the city longer. Welcoming atmosphere and interesting chats with the owner's cousins

I had a fantastic stay at Rooftop in Shkoder. the host, Ele, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about not only Shkoder but also other parts of the country. Despite our late arrival at 2 am, Ele was awake and welcoming, providing helpful information on how to get to the hostel from the bus stop. the hostel itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for couples or those staying for a day or two. the location was ideal, conveniently situated near the bus waiting area for trips to Theth and just a 5-minute walk from the bus station connecting to Tirana and other cities. The rooftop lounge offered a stunning view of the city center, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunset. Cons: Couldn't fault it. 👌.

Staff were so helpful, speaking English, French, and Italian, they practically became my personal translators. Went cycling around, totally helped by the hostel. And the private parking was a real treat, because who doesn't love paying extra for parking?
Loved how the nearest airports were conveniently located, with Tirana and Podgorica practically next door. Such a shame I couldn't visit both on this trip.

The location of the hostel was ideal, right in the center of the city and close to the bus station. The staff provided valuable advice about things to do in the area and even organized a transfer to a nearby town. Additionally, the hostel had a rooftop with amazing views where guests could relax and enjoy a drink.
The cleanliness of the hostel could be improved.

I had an fantastic stay at a wonderful hostel in the perfect location. The knowledgeable and helpful personnel were great too ensure my comfort. They even arranged a safe driver for my trip to Theth. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean.

The reception staff saved the day with their non-stop assistance in English, French, and Italian. I had a blast cycling around, although I almost crashed into a cow. The private parking was a lifesaver, even though I scratched the rental car.
The bar at Hostel Tarabosh made me feel like I was in a real-life version of Cheers. Such a disappointment.
